Sean is CIFF’s Executive Director, Finance and Operations. Prior to joining CIFF he had a career as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch and then HSBC. He focused on the telecoms sector, including significant work in Europe and the emerging markets. While at HSBC he was the Global Head of Telecoms Banking, and then acted as COO for the Global Investment Banking team. He has an honours economics degree from Harvard College, and a JD from The University of Chicago Law School. He is a Trustee of International Finance Facility for Immunization (IFFIm) which provides financing to The GAVI Alliance, and a member of The Visiting Committee at The University of Chicago Law School.
