Jon Watts

Jon joined CIFF's Executive Team in November 2018 as CFO and Executive Director, he is responsible for Finance, IT, Organisational Development and Programme Related Investments. 

Previously, Jon has worked with Unilever, in Europe, USA and Latin America where he was Finance Director for Chile and later the Latin America region. He later worked for the brewing and soft drinks company SABMiller where he was the Director of Finance & Control and Programme Director for Global Business Services. In 2014 Jon moved to the not-for-profit world as CFO at Save The Children International, soon after the integration of Save the Children Association’s operations in Africa, Asia and the Americas. He is an investor in early stage impact businesses.  

Jon spent 10 years living and working outside the UK: in Poland (during the early years of transition to market economy), Chile (where he learnt and worked in Spanish) and the USA; he has extensive experience leading in diverse and international cultures, multinational corporations, the third sector, and start-up organisations. 

Jon studied History at Cambridge and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
