Dr. Mihretab Melesse Salasibew is a Director in the Evidence, Measurement and Evaluation team. Mihretab is an Epidemiologist and has worked extensively in Ethiopia and other countries in Africa, working specifically on maternal and child health, nutrition, adolescent reproductive health and neglected tropical diseases.

Mihretab holds a PhD in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where he has also led large scale operational research and evaluations. Mihretab is particularly interested in evidence synthesis; evidence-based decision making; impact evaluations; scale up and program sustainability; and the use of technology in the accurate tracking of large scale public health interventions.
