Flo Albu is a digital leader with over 20 years of experience driving customer-centric, data-led strategies. As Director of Technology for Impact at the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), he leads efforts to harness AI-driven insights, data ecosystems, and digital innovation to deliver scalable solutions that improve outcomes for children globally.

Flo has extensive cross-sector experience, having led digital transformation initiatives and delivered impact-driven technology solutions for organisations such as Rothamsted Research, OFGEM, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation, EUMETSAT, and Amnesty International. He has played a pivotal role in driving innovation across sectors including human rights, international development, biotech/AgTech, earth observation, logistics, and renewable energy.

His work bridges strategy, technology, and innovation, with a strong focus on scaling impactful solutions through responsible AI frameworks, predictive analytics, and data-informed decision-making. Flo is particularly passionate about leveraging AI to address societal challenges and is actively exploring how emerging technologies can drive progress in education, climate resilience, and public health.

Flo holds a BSc in Engineering from University Politehnica Bucharest, and an MSc in Management from Hult Ashridge.
