Safeguarding Policy
CIFF is committed to set and promote the highest standards of safeguarding to ensure the well-being and safety of all individuals involved in our organisation, programs, and activities particularly those who are vulnerable and we support our partners to do the same. We are dedicated to creating an environment where everyone feels respected, valued, and protected from harm, abuse, or neglect. Safeguarding is a non negotiable in our work and operations.
In October 2023, we reviewed and strengthened our safeguarding policy to reflect the evolution of safeguarding regulation, our work and to better protect the communities we serve in adherence to the Charity Commission guidance, International conventions for the rights of children and safeguarding international regulations.
We have also developed videos for our staff and grantees. Please watch the video below, which provides the basics on Child Safeguarding. Local laws and regulations and particular circumstances within your organisations should be taken into account when dealing with Child Safeguarding.
