CIFF has made two senior leadership appointments, following a reorganisation of our investments into new Child Health & Development portfolios.

Siobhan Crowley is CIFF’s new Executive Director, Childhood. Siobhan joined CIFF earlier this year to lead CIFF’s investments related to nutrition, deworming and early childhood development, and has over 30 years’ work experience improving health care services for children in Africa, Asia and the UK.

Miles Kemplay is CIFF’s new Executive Director, Adolescence. Miles previously led CIFF’s work on adolescent sexual and reproductive health. He joined CIFF in 2012 following 16 years’ experience working for sexual & reproductive health, neglected tropical disease, humanitarian and private sector organisations in Africa, Asia and the UK.

Alongside tackling climate change and promoting child protection, CIFF’s priority is improving the survival, health and well-being of children, adolescents and their mothers. To date, our investments related to this ambition have been captured in our Survive & Thrive portfolio.

In order to clarify and sharpen our focus on the age groups and stages of life we prioritise, we have reorganised this work and formed Childhood & Adolescence portfolios and teams.

Upon announcing these new appointments, CIFF’s CEO Kate Hampton said: “Siobhan and Miles’ promotions are richly deserved. Both Siobhan and Miles combine strategic and innovative leadership with a passion and commitment to CIFF’s vision. Under their leadership, I am confident the new Childhood & Adolescence teams will deliver outstanding results for the children and young people we serve.”
