Brad Duncan
Chief Administrative Officer
Brad joined CIFF in 2019 as General Counsel and is now Chief Administrative Officer, responsible for Legal and External Affairs, Finance, IT and Impact Investments.
Prior to joining CIFF, Brad was General Counsel and Company Secretary at The Carbon Trust where he was also part of the team working on green finance and particularly green bonds. Prior to The Carbon Trust he was Director and Deputy General Counsel at Citigroup, where he supported the Securitisation, Special Situations and Structured Solutions groups, as well as the wider capital markets and real estate business.
Brad originally qualified as a solicitor in Australia in 1999 and worked at law firm King & Wood Mallesons before moving to the Structured Finance Group at Linklaters, London. He is also a volunteer legal advisor for the Legal Response Initiative which provides free legal support to poor and particularly climate vulnerable developing countries in the context of negotiations under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
Brad holds a BA LLB from Macquarie University, Sydney and a PgC in Environmental Management from Staffordshire University. In 2019 he completed the INSEAD Executive Education certificate in Business Strategy and Financial Performance.
