Hemang Shah is CIFF’s Child Health and Development director for India and leads investments in areas of nutrition, health and WASH.

Before joining CIFF in 2018, Hemang has led different public health and nutrition programs while working with State Government in India, UN agencies, international Health NGO and the private sector.

His areas of expertise and interest include maternal and child health, nutrition, neglected tropical diseases and WASH.

Hemang is a trained medical doctor with specialisation in public health. He is part of multiple networks and Technical Advisory Groups (TAG) focussing on areas of his interest.
