Sonny Bardhan is one of our Investment Managers, responsible for identifying and developing opportunities to improve children’s welfare. Prior to joining CIFF, he worked as a consultant for McKinsey, both in their London office where he served financial sector clients and in their Social Sector Office where he worked on economic development, ranging from country growth strategies to financial inclusion initiatives in Mexico. Sonny began his career working for Capital One where he helped to develop and implement its UK customer acquisition strategy. He has also worked with UnLtd in the UK, Innovations for Poverty Action in the Philippines and as a consultant to the Royal Bafokeng Nation in South Africa. Sonny holds a First Class Honours M.A. in Natural Sciences from The University of Cambridge, an MBA with distinction from The University of Oxford and an MPA/ID from Harvard, where he was a Reynolds Fellow in Social Entrepreneurship.
