Ang Li
Director, Climate
Ang Li is Climate Director at CIFF, where she co-leads the Clean Growth Mission, supporting emerging markets and developing economies in pursuing carbon-neutrality targets alongside sustainable economic growth.
With over 15 years of experience in low-carbon development, climate policy, and green finance, she works with policymakers, researchers, and financial institutions to develop practical pathways toward carbon neutrality. Her expertise spans national, subnational, and sectoral transition planning, connecting long-term transition strategies with medium- and near-term investment priorities. Before joining CIFF, Ang was a Programme Director at the World Resources Institute (WRI) and Program Head at the Institute for Global Decarbonization Progress (iGDP), a China-based non-profit think tank focused on green and low-carbon development.
She holds an MSc in Energy Policy from the University of Exeter as a Chevening Scholar.
