Heather Morgan
Chief Human Resources Officer
Dr Heather Morgan is Chief Human Resources Officer at the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), where she is responsible for strategic HR leadership, organisational design, leadership development, talent management, and change management. Her leadership development work is both internal to CIFF and ecosystem driven. As a member of the executive leadership team, she contributes to the overall strategy and development of the organisation.
Heather brings more than three decades of international senior HR leadership experience across the private and not-for-profit sectors. She worked in FMCG, telecoms and private equity in addition to co-founding and leading a consultancy focused on leadership, organisational change, career coaching and high-performing teams. Prior to joining CIFF, she was Director of People & Planning and a member of the executive team at Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.
Heather holds a PhD in Organisational Psychology and an MSc in Career Management & Counselling from Birkbeck, University of London. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, a qualified executive coach and a permanent lecturer and co-leader of the People Management module on the voluntary sector masters’ programme at the Centre for Charity Effectiveness, Bayes Business School, University of London. She has held several trustee roles in the not-for-profit sector and is currently a trustee of Enselia Foundation, a new UK charity providing high-trust hosting services working alongside funders, peer hosts, and partners to strengthen the wider ecosystem.
