Terri Wills
Director, Climate
Terri is responsible for overseeing CIFF’s work in transport, buildings, cities, air quality, cooling, super pollutants and resilience. She has held key roles in global climate action for over 10 years. Terri joined CIFF from Arup, where she led the Urban Strategy team focussed on integrating climate action with social and economic benefits and also held the post as Global Leader for Social Value and Equity. Prior to Arup, Terri worked with the UK Climate Change Committee on the role of the private sector in the 6th Carbon Budget.
Terri was also the CEO of the World Green Building Council for four years, where she worked with the global network of over 70 national Green Building Councils to spearhead the global movement to Net Zero Carbon Buildings. Prior to WorldGBC, Terri was part of the team that developed and implemented the strategy for the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group, overseeing the city-to-city networks that led to policy change in over half of C40 cities.
Terri is Canadian and British, and holds a BAH in Political Studies from Queen’s University Canada and an MSc in Media and Communications from the London School of Economics.
